The Manitoba government is budgeting nearly $1.2 billion in the 2021-22 fiscal year to protect Manitobans through COVID-19 and prepare for future pandemic and economic needs.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.3 per cent provincially and 4.3 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on April 6, 2021, 62 new cases of the virus have been identified. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 34,549.
