4-H Canada is pleased to announce that the Farm Credit Canada (FCC) 4-H Club Fund will provide $100,000 to 203 4-H clubs across Canada in 2021, to support local activities.

A total of 29,751 doses of vaccine have been administered in Manitoba including 26,349 first doses and 3,402 second doses. Beginning this week, every dose of vaccine administered will be a second dose, meaning more Manitobans will have fuller protection against COVID-19.

A 30-year-old Winnipeg man has been arrested and charged after RCMP recently seized two firearms in the suspects vehicle during a traffic stop in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 9.8 per cent provincially and 6.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 23, 2021, 216 new cases of the virus have been identified and the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 28,476.

The Public Utilities Board approved the application of Centra Gas Manitoba Inc. to decrease the current Primary Gas rate effective February 1, 2021. Primary Gas is sold on a cost recovery basis without markup by Centra to Manitoba customers.

This morning, the federal government advised Manitoba to expect a third supply reduction of the Pfizer vaccine. In the week of Feb. 1, Manitoba will receive two trays of vaccine (2,340 doses) instead of five (5,850 doses). Projections for the week of Feb. 8 are no longer being provided.
