Manitoba RCMP are warning the public about ongoing scams where the caller claims to work for a police or government agency. Recently, two people have been defrauded of over $34,000 in southwestern Manitoba.

Lac du Bonnet RCMP are reporting that an 18-year-old local area man has been arrested and is facing charges in connection to a recent armed robbery and residential fire that occurred in the community.

Manitoba Agriculture and Resource Development is reminding boaters, anglers and other water users to remain vigilant as the open-water season ends, and to make sure they properly inspect and remove aquatic invasive species (AIS) before they transport their watercraft and water-related equipment.
