The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10.6 per cent provincially and 10.6 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on December 24, 2020, 244 new cases of the virus have been identified, which brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 23,624.

As more COVID-19 vaccine is delivered to Manitoba in in the coming weeks, the province will expand eligibility criteria to help protect more health-care workers and those most at risk of serious illness from the virus. These adjustments will include progressively immunizing a broader range of health-care workers, residents of personal care homes and elderly Manitobans.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10.4 per cent provincially and 10.2 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on December 23, 2020, 201 new cases of the virus have been identified, which brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 23,381.

Selkirk RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding a missing woman from the community, 20-year-old Sharon Owens.

Between December 14 and 20, Manitoba RCMP issued a total of 283 warnings and 62 tickets related to COVID-19 enforcement, many related to private gatherings.

Flin Flon RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from the community, 26-year-old Isaac Joseph Colomb.

All of the 1,300 COVID-19 immunization appointments for this week have been booked by eligible health-care providers with 298 eligible health-care workers being immunized with the COVID-19 vaccine.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 11.5 per cent provincially and 10.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on December 12, 2020, 155 new cases of the virus have been identified, which brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 23,180.

More than 1,200 eligible health-care workers have booked an appointment to be immunized against COVID-19 this week. Manitoba has been able to expand the number of available immunization appointments to more than 1,300 from 900 because immunizers have consistently been able to draw six doses of vaccine from each vial, instead of the expected five.

With the onset of cold weather conditions beginning Tuesday, Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living is reminding Manitobans across the province of health concerns related to colder temperatures that are expected in the coming days.
