The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10 per cent provincially and 9.2 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 10, 2021, 151 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 26,317.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 9.9 per cent provincially and 9.4 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 9, 2021, 203 new cases of the virus have been identified, bringing the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 26,166.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10.1 per cent provincially and 10.3 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 8, 2021, 222 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, one was removed due to a data correction making the net new total 221. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 25,963.

The Manitoba government has extended public health orders from Jan. 8 until Jan. 22, to continue to protect Manitobans and reduce case numbers, test positivity rates and hospitalizations, Premier Brian Pallister and Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba’s chief provincial public health officer, announced today.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 9.9 per cent provincially and 10.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 7, 2021, 208 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, seven were removed due to data corrections making the net new total 201. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 25,742.

To protect vulnerable Manitobans who are at greatest risk from COVID-19, Manitoba will launch a 28-day campaign to immunize all eligible personal care home (PCH) residents in 135 sites across the province with the first dose of the vaccine. 

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10.4 per cent provincially and 11.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 6, 2021, 176 new cases of the virus have been identified. However, nine were removed due to data corrections making the net new total 167. This brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 25,541.

The current five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate is 10.7 per cent provincially and 11.5 per cent in Winnipeg. As of 9:30am on January 5, 2020, 130 new cases of the virus have been identified, which brings the total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba to 25,374.

A total of 279 warnings and 55 tickets were issued for the week of Dec. 28, 2020, to Jan. 3 including 49 $1,296 tickets to individuals for various offences and six tickets to individuals for failure to wear a mask in indoor public places.

Infrastructure Minister Ron Schuler, minister responsible for the Manitoba Emergency Measures Organization (EMO), announced that the Manitoba government is extending the provincewide state of emergency under the Emergency Measures Act to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and protect Manitobans.
