A fire at the Roblin IGA, on Main Street in Roblin, Manitoba, caused extensive damage.
On January 8, 2012, at approximately 10:30pm, Roblin RCMP, Roblin Fire Department and EMS responded to a structural fire at Roblin IGA, on Main Street in Roblin, Manitoba.
RCMP report that the building suffered extensive damage after a passer-by noticed smoke coming from the building and called 911. The store was unoccupied at the time, no one was injured.
Police say that faulty wiring is suspected at this time and damages are estimated to be in excess of $750,000.
The Office of the Fire Commissioner assisted by Roblin RCMP continue to investigate.
