On the evening of February 25, 2012, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP detachment received a report of a person that had uttered threats to another individual.

Investigators learned that the suspect had attended a local residence in Dauphin. During that time the suspect, through conversation, had threatened another person. Police say that the suspect had then left and was located a short time later and arrested without incident.

Following his arrest, investigators determined that the suspect had outstanding charges and was bound by conditions of a recognizance.

45-year-old Craig Morris Urbanovitch from the rural Dauphin area, has been charged with uttering threats and breach of recognizance. Urbanovitch has been remanded in custody to appear in Dauphin Provincial court.
