South Eastman Health/Santé Sud-Est invites you to join them at Clearspring Centre in Steinbach on May 26 to celebrate everyday heroes.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) week May 20 – 26 is a week of celebration dedicated to the achievements of the men and women who daily, are on the front lines within the EMS community. These Everyday Heroes are the first responders, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and emergency medical dispatchers, respond to the call, and deliver life saving skills to citizens in need.
This Year’s Theme: “EMS: More Than a Job – it’s a calling”
The Steinbach Paramedic Service (EMS) is working to provide an educational session along with some entertaining activities, to highlight the emergency medical system in our community.
Join South Eastman Health/Santé Sud-Est, at the Clearspring Centre in Steinbach, May 26th, 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
• Ambulance tours
• Face painting
• CPR demonstrations
• Teddy-bear/ repair table, kids can bring their bears to receive splints, bandages and some special TLC
We encourage everyone, both young and old to come out and participate in this event. This is a great way to give people in our community the opportunity to meet our medics, receive valuable information about EMS services and have an enjoyable afternoon.
