Landmark was the victim of multiple property offences this past weekend with thefts from vehicles and garage break-ins.

Two adults, 1 male, 1 female have been arrested with further arrests pending. The majority of incidences occurred over Saturday night, November 22, 2009. Two adults were arrested shortly after 5:05am near the scene of single motor vehicle collision where the vehicle entered the ditch on PR 210 after attempting to make a turn at too fast a speed. Stolen property was recovered in the trunk of the vehicle consistent with the rash of property thefts that evening.

Two other adult males remain at large and are being sought by police. These matters remain under investigation with multiple charges of property theft pending against the suspects.  

The owner of a residence on Sisken Bay, Landmark surprised a male youth in his garage at 4:30am looking through his vehicle. The unknown male fled the scene but was described as having dark medium length hair with a black & white bandana.
 
The owners of a 2007 Black Dodge Charger awoke at 5am to find two suspects trying to break into their vehicle parked in the driveway along Centre Avenue, Landmark. The unknown suspects fled on foot after being noticed.

A green 1999 Honda Odyssey van parked on 4th Street in Landmark was broken into overnight and an Ipod stolen. 

A white 2007 Toyota Camry was rummaged through overnight while parked in a garage on Centre Street, Landmark. Neither the vehicle nor the garage were locked at the time.  

An unlocked garage on 4th Street, Landmark, was entered and a vehicle inside was rummaged through overnight. Neither the garage nor the vehicle sustained any damage.
