Tennis enthusiasts will be happy to know the courts at the corner of Lumber Avenue and Third Street in Steinbach are back in commission as of today.
Mayor Chris Goertzen joined long-time community tennis players Menno Lepp, Scott Masterson and Adam Guenther in the first serves and rally on the newly resurfaced courts.
Russ Dyck, Parks and Rec Department Head with the City, said the last touches will be the sidewalk path approaches which will take place one day next week.
The project came in within budget at a cost of $141,000.
