It was an amazing night for a Movie Under the Stars! This past Saturday, the City of Steinbach hosted its second annual movie event at A.D. Penner Park in Steinbach.
This year, it was estimated that close to 1,000 people were in attendance! That’s over double the attendance from last year. Despite some major technical difficulties causing a half-hour delay, Cars 2 was still able to play to the delight of viewers. The weather was beautiful and ice cream treats were sold in abundance, making it fabulous family night.
The City would like to thank the Steinbach Arts Council for hosting a fundraising bbq and providing artistic entertainment for the three hours leading up to the movie. A huge thank you also goes out to the City’s movie sponsors for making the night a huge success: The Water Doctor Plumbing Services, HyLife and Tim Hortons.
