Steinbach’s new Community Plan was one of six finalists nominated for a planning award from the Manitoba Professional Planners Institute. The winner, West Alexander and Centennial Neighbourhood Plan, was announced in Brandon yesterday at the Manitoba Planning Conference.
Mayor Goertzen stressed that although Steinbach did not receive the award, “it was an honour to be nominated.”
Steinbach’s Community Plan was developed by the City of Steinbach and Council together with MMM Engineering Group and through consultation with residents of Steinbach.
