Notice of Public Hearing regarding By-Law 1882
The Council of the City of Steinbach, under the authority of the Planning Act, will hold a Public Meeting at the Council Chambers, Steinbach City Hall, 225 Reimer Avenue, Steinbach, Manitoba, on Tuesday, the 20th day of July, 2010 at 7:35 p.m., at which time and place the Council will receive representations and objections, if any, from any persons who wish to make same in respect of Rezoning By-law 1882 being a By-law to regulate the development and use of land within The City of Steinbach.
A copy of the above By-Law 1882 and supporting material may be inspected by any person between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, at the City Hall office, 225 Reimer Avenue, Steinbach, Manitoba.
The general intent of the above noted by-law is to:
a) regulate the use of the buildings, structures and land;
b) regulate location, height, bulk, size of yards, courts and other open spaces;
c) divide the City into land use zones of such number, shape and area as may be in keeping to carry out provisions of the City of Steinbach Official Community Plan. These zones generally will prescribe permitted, conditional and accessory uses of lands, buildings and structures;
d) provide for the issuance of development permits and provide the procedure to obtain an amendment and the fees to be paid.
This Zoning By-Law will have application to the whole of the City of Steinbach. The By-Law also provides for repealing the City of Steinbach Zoning By-Law 1400, Mobile Sign By-Law 1602 and Parking By-Law 1058 and all amendments thereto,
