During the week of April 23, 2012, RCMP Federal Enforcement Section executed search warrants at four Winnipeg businesses in relation to an ongoing investigation under the Copyright, Trademark, and Textile Labeling Acts.

Four Steinbach area males are facing drug related charges after Steinbach RCMP discovered a quantity of marijuana at a local residence earlier this week.

On April 26, 2012, just after 2pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a grass fire at a rural residence south east of the City of Portage la Prairie.

Just after 6:30am on April 22, 2012, Central Plains RCMP responded to a fire at the convenience store on Hackberry at Delta Beach in the RM of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.
