Following a detailed review, the Crown has brought homicide proceedings against Kyle Unger to an end and he has been acquitted of all charges related to the murder of Brigitte Grenier.

RCMP Morris Detachment, assisted by the Manitoba Office of the Fire Commissioner, continue the investigation into the fire which occurred earlier this week at the Morris Riverview Golf and Country Club.

RCMP Headingley Traffic services were dispatched at approximately 10am on October 19, 2009, to a single vehicle collision involving a tractor trailer hauling BFI bins on the South Perimeter (100) and Brady Road.

On October 16, 2009, at about 11pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP responded to a complaint of an impaired driver at the corner of 8th Street West and Saskatchewan Avenue in Portage la Prairie.

On Saturday morning, October 17, 2009, officers from the Dauphin Municipal detachment responded to a report of an assault at a south-end apartment complex.

On October 18, 2009, at approximately 1:30am, members of the Steinbach RCMP responded to a fight in progress at a residence in the RM of Hanover.

On October 16, 2009, RCMP Oakbank Detachment began investigating a death at a gravel pit in Birds Hill Provincial Park.
