RCMP Lynn Lake Detachment, with the assistance of RCMP Winnipeg and Thompson Major Crime Services and the RCMP Dauphin and Thompson Forensic Identification Section are currently investigating the homicide of a 49-year-old male.

On the afternoon of July 4, 2009, officers from the Dauphin Municipal detachment were called to a Dauphin hotel to help deal with an unruly patron.

The Headingley RCMP advise that the body of a female located in the RM of Rosser, has been positively identified as 17-year-old, Cherisse Houle of Winnipeg.

On July 2, 2009 at approximately 10:00 a.m., Teulon RCMP were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision involving a car and a motorcycle on Highway 7 at the intersection of Provincial Road 231 in Fraserwood, Manitoba.

This weekend’s Countryfest in Dauphin has RCMP officers busy as they have already laid 25 drug, alcohol and speeding related charges to festival attendees.

On June 30, 2009, police received information that shipments of liquor were coming into Pukatawagan by boat.

At 9:05 PM on June 29, 2009, Neepawa RCMP were advised of a building on fire on 1st Avenue in Neepawa.
