RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson and Assistant Commissioner Kevin Brosseau, Commanding Officer of “D” Division, recognized the dedication and outstanding service of dozens of RCMP employees at a special awards ceremony held at the Minto Armouries.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2012 Excellence in Sustainability Awards including, for the first time, a sustainable community award.

The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the upcoming Business Excellence Awards, being presented at the Annual General Meeting at Mennonite Heritage Village, Thursday, November 8th, 2012.

Appreciation was the focus of a special ceremony held at the Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site. The site, an integral part of the RCMP’s past, was the perfect backdrop to honour those who have shown dedication and loyalty to the Force.

United Transportation Driver Training has been named Business of the Year by the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce at its annual meeting and business excellence awards gala held at the Mennonite Heritage Village on November 2.

On September 21, 2011, RCMP “D” Division held a Long Service Awards Ceremony at the Lower Fort Garry Historical Site in St. Andrews, Manitoba.

One RCMP member and eight civilians honoured for their courageous actions were among those recognized for their outstanding efforts and dedicated service at a special awards ceremony at “D” Division Headquarters.

The annual Celebration of Excellence in Teaching awards were announced by Education Minister Nancy Allan as part of Education Week 2010, a week-long tribute to educators across the country.

The Steinbach Chamber’s Business Awards Program is back for its 7th year.

Community volunteers from Vita and Oakbank were among those recently honoured with nominations for the 2009 Fred Douglas Humanitarian Awards.
