A Teulon man has been arrested and faces drug and firearm related charges after RCMP discovered a gro-op in the RM of Gimli earlier this week.

RCMP have seized approximately 728 marijuana plants after searching a residence near Arborg last week.

On August 18, 2011, RCMP Winnipeg Drug Section executed a CDSA (Controlled Drug and Substances Act) search warrant at a property in the RM of Alexander, Manitoba.

In the early morning hours of August 9, 2011, investigators from the RCMP Winnipeg Drug Section, RCMP Ste Rose Detachment, RCMP West District and the RCMP Emergency Response Team executed a CDSA (Controlled Drugs and Substance Act) search warrant at a rural property near St. Amelie in the RM of Ste. Rose.

On October 26, 2010, at about 7pm, Hamiota and Elphinstone RCMP as well as local Emergency Services were dispatched to the scene of a residential fire in the Town of Hamiota.

On the morning of August 1, 2010, members of the Carman Area RCMP with assistance from the Winnipeg RCMP Drug Section executed a search warrant at a residence in the RM of Roland.

A house that was once a marijuana grow-op has a chance to become a home again after being forfeited to the province under the Criminal Property Forfeiture Act, Attorney General Andrew Swan announced.
