On December 12, 2014, shortly before 3pm, Portage la Prairie RCMP assisted Natural Resource Officers with Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship in arresting and charging two men in relation to the selling of wild elk meat.

On October 14, 2012, Treherne RCMP received a report of 3 deceased cows that were located at a land location north of the town of Treherne in the Rural Municipality of South Norfolk.

Treherne RCMP are investigating a number of recent break-ins at rural residences in the RM of Grey and South Norfolk.

On August 13, 2010, at about 8:30am, Treherne RCMP were dispatched to the scene of a fatal farm accident in the RM of South Norfolk.
