A range of community-based projects will move ahead with more than $280,000 in support through the Waste Reduction and Pollution Prevention (WRAPP) Fund, Conservation Minister Bill Blaikie announced, as Waste Reduction Week began.

Hanover School Division trustee candidate Sam Grauer is proposing that the school division take a strong stance in support of examination as well as facilitate more AP courses.

This past year saw Steinbach’s new soccer park completed and the football field at AD Penner Park resurfaced, but the City’s Parks Department is still busy, trying to complete a few more projects before winter hits.

On October 11, 2010, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a stolen ATV from a residence in the Cloverdale area in Steinbach.

Over the course of the Thanksgiving long weekend, Steinbach RCMP received six reports of stolen vehicles.
