On July 5, 2013, just before 5am, Swan River RCMP as well as local emergency services were dispatched to the scene of a residential fire on 3rd Avenue NW in Swan River.

On May 30, 2013, at about 4:30am Swan River RCMP received a dispatch to an alarm at a business on Main street in Swan River, Manitoba.
