Obituary

(Rolf) Charles Lampert, age 76, of Steinbach, MB passed away Sunday, October 21, 2018 peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB.

He is survived by his beloved wife Inge and their son Ray (Debra), three grandchildren Zachariah (Martine), Sydney (Andrew) and Cassidy, two great-grandchildren Emalyn and Adaline, Sisters-in-law Helga, Irma, Erika (John), Frieda (Paul), Waltraud (Bob) and may nieces and nephews and extended family.

Charles was married to Inge Telke on September 2nd, 1967. Son Ray was born June 19, 1968. They started out in a home built by Charles in Lockport, MB. They then spent 10 years in British Columbia, 15 years in Northwest Ontario prior to returning to Manitoba where they have resided in Steinbach for the last 11 years. Many winters were spent as winter Texans. Adventure and travel were always a high priority for Charles and family.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach.
