Obituary

Donald Lewis of Morris, Manitoba, aged 83, passed away peacefully Thursday evening October 25, 2018 at the Morris General Hospital.

Don was born in Carman, Manitoba on March 31, 1935. He went to high school at Morris and Lowe Farm, and went on to earn his diploma in Agriculture at the U of M. He farmed on the Lewis homestead until retiring in 2000. Don loved the outdoors and harvested many of God’s gifts. He loved the land and was passionate about farming. Most of all he adored the love of his life Sally who worked side by side with Don on the farm raising a family and loving life.

Don is survived by his wife Sally, children, Robert Lewis, Linda and Rick Dwyer, and Howard and Heather Lewis, grandchildren, Daniela, James, Jesse, Riley and Megan; and his brother Gary Lewis. He is predeceased in death by his grandson Declan.

The funeral service for Don will be held Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at the Open Door Church located at the Morris MultiPlex at 2:00pm. Viewing will be held prior to the funeral service at the Morris MultiPlex. Burial will take place at the Morris Cemetery.
