Obituary

On Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 1:30 p.m., Jake Rempel passed away peacefully at Ste. Anne’s Hospital.

He leaves to mourn: his wife of 58 years, Jeannette; his children: Russ (Marie) and Jacqueline (Bud) Laliberté; grandchildren: Kyle, Kara, Darryl (Amy), and Cody; great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Clementine and one on the way; five step-grandchildren and eight great-grandsons; siblings: Abe, Betty Kintop (Walter), Anita Perry (Tom); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jake worked for Mayer for 47 years. For many years he managed hockey and coached baseball in Ile-de-Chênes. His wish was to be cremated and to have a private family memorial.

Rest in peace my love, no more pain.
