Obituary

Edgardo Pueblo, known by many as Gary, 48, of Steinbach, MB, passed away following a long fight with cancer on Saturday, March 16th, 2019 (Sunday, March 17th in his home country, the Philippines) at the Bethesda Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Rosie Pueblo, their two daughters, one son-in-law, one sister, two brothers and parents, Edgardo and Vicky Pueblo.

Gary worked as pool maintenance with the City of Steinbach for many years and before that, worked at Valeant Pharmaceuticals in Production. He had a great taste in music (U2 was played a lot in the household), had all the seasons of Big Bang Theory on DVD and loved cheering for the New England Patriots. Gary always had a smile on his face and was known as a great guy to talk to and for always making people feel welcome.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20th, at 6:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with a viewing and dinner to follow.

If friends or family so desire, donations in memory of Gary may be made to Bethesda Foundation (Unit 3-380 Stone Bridge Crossing, Steinbach, MB R5G 2R1) and CancerCare Manitoba (1160-675 McDermot Ave, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9) at the service.

Special thanks to all the people who have been with Gary and the family throughout his battle – because of you all, Gary won.
