Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rachelle, at the age of 80 years.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lucien; children Louis (Monique), Dianne (Albert), Lorraine (Maurice), Doris (Art), Suzanne (Danny), Lise, Claire (Robert), Colette (Luc), Gérald (Lynn), 33 grandchildren and 70 great grandchildren. Rachelle was also survived by her brother Ovila.

She is predeceased by her father Dominique; mother Yvonne; brother Isidore; sister Beatrice; sisters-in-law Diane and Jeanine; brothers-in-law Guillaume, Ron and Armand; son-in-law Raymond; father-in-law Philippe; and mother-in-law Ida.

Rachelle had a full life with many favorite things like singing and dancing, knitting and rocking, fishing and boating. She traveled from coast to coast with Dad. She enjoyed her horses and kittens.

The memorial service for Rachelle will be held on Friday, April 26 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Joachim Roman Catholic Church, 101 Principale St, La Broquerie, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association, Manitoba Division.
