Obituary

Terrance Wayne Palmer, at age 60, of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Friday, August 16, 2019, at his residence.

He is survived by his former wife Debbie Zimmer and his four sons Michael (Christina, Malachi) Palmer, Chris (Carrie, Brandon, Emily, Jaxon) Palmer, Justin (Jennifer, Ashley) Palmer, Patrick Palmer and his brother Doug Palmer.

He was predeceased by his father Herman Alfred Palmer, mother Irene Aleya, and sister Bonnie Marlene Palmer

Terrance who went by Terry, was born in Belleville, Ontario on February 24th, 1959. He permanently resided in Steinbach, Manitoba in 2013, where he was currently employed by Loewen Windows as a material handler. He was hard working, always willing to help and he enjoyed working at Loewens.

Terry really enjoyed the last 6 years of his life out here. He enjoyed watching his grandkids hockey games, and babysitting them, or taking them for ice cream. He loved watching sports with his four boys and playing his mobile games at home. Terry did not go out much or make plans with a lot of people besides family, but a lot of people were touched by him. Family and friends saw what a quiet, kind loving, caring, neat and most of all the family man he was in the last 6 years of his life. All the grandkids became and were one of the most important parts of his life to him and they always made him smile from ear to ear. Terry also had a passion for collecting Legos, he loved putting them together and seeing the outcome, he was always proud of them. It was the simple things in life that brought him such joy.

Terry will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

The memorial celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the EMTs, Police officers, Family and friends during this time.
