Obituary

Aganetha Wall, aged 76 years, of Steinbach, MB, passed away following a lengthy illness, on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at Bethesda Place Personal Care Home, Steinbach, MB.

She is survived by her husband, Abraham, and their three daughters, four sons and families, along with one sister, one brother and 23 grandchildren.

Aganetha was predeceased by three sons and eighteen brothers and sisters.

Aganetha was born in Mexico, where at the age of 21 she married Abraham, they spent their first 22 years together living in Mexico. At the age of 43, they made the journey to Canada, here she remained until the time of her passing.

She was a loving, kind, thoughtful and at times quiet person, but often found joy in teasing and poking fun at her loved ones. Aganetha also enjoyed being outside in the garden, baking and trying out new foods. Most of all she cherished spending time with her family.

The viewing will take place on Sunday, August 25, 2019, at 7:00 p.m., followed by a devotional at 7:30 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The funeral service will take place on Monday, August 26, 2019, at 2:00 P.M., at the Christian Mennonite Church, Steinbach, MB, with a viewing held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Aganetha may be made to Birchwood Funeral Chapel, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
