Obituary

It is with great sadness that on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at 12:36 p.m., we lost our father, brother, uncle and friend; Michael Kantimere, age 62, of Tolstoi, MB., formerly of Rosa, MB., after his courageous battle with cancer.

He leaves behind to cherish in his memory, daughters: Leah (Mike) and Ashley (Danny), his two grandchildren: Austin and Saydee, brother Eugene (Olga), sisters: Jean, Nellie, Mary and friend Nancy.

He was predeceased by his parents Michael & Mary, sisters; Olga, Anne, Rosie and Elsie, brothers-in-law: Mike, Peter, Maurice, John, Stan, Larry T. and Larry W. and his in-laws Steve & Elsie.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with reception to follow.

Interment will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff at De Salaberry District Health Centre for the compassion and care provided during Dad’s final weeks.
