Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron at St. Boniface Hospital.

He will be mourned and his memories cherished by his soul-mate Janet of 39 years, his children: Ron Jr (Trisha), Jennifer, Cory (Lisa) and Jesse (Ana). His grandchildren: Jasmine, Cloe, Zachary and Kylee. He was so looking forward to the birth of Jesse and Ana’s baby in June. He will be forever missed by his loving mother Dorothy, his brothers: Bob, David (Simone), Leonard (Kathleen), Claude (Donna) and Jean-Louis (Brenda) and his sister Donna (Renald). His brothers and sisters -in-law: Larry (Bonita), Rod (Rhonda), Ken (Sjana), Val (Chris), Brenda (Brent) and Bob (Bonny). Also, many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Ron was predeceased by his father Robert, his mother and father-in-law, Mary and Pete Fehr and his brother-in-law Jim.

Ron was a family man who loved his family dearly and continuously showed them his affection. His grandchildren were the joy of his life and he got down on their level to play with them. He was kind, generous and had a great sense of humour. He liked to tease and joke and was fun to be around. He befriended everyone he met. He enjoyed listening to music and wood working. He loved the outdoors and liked hunting and fishing. After retirement he took care of his family and home. He was a great cook who made delicious soups and bannock which he shared with his loved ones.

We love you and you will remain forever in our hearts.

The family would like to thank the health care workers at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
