Obituary

William (Bill) James Bueckert, passed away peacefully, at home on Monday, March 30, 2020 after a difficult battle with cancer.

Bill was born on Feb 28, 1979 in Leamington, Ontario but spent most of his life in Manitoba. Bill spent the last 20 years as a Class 1 truck driver for Penner International and Landmark Transfer. When he wasn’t working, Bill loved spending time with his family, working on his project car, playing with his RC cars and model cars and tinkering on whatever project had caught his eye. Bill was the kind of man who would love without judgement and who always put himself last to make sure the ones he loved had what they needed. He forgave easily and always saw the best in people.

Bill will be greatly missed by his fiancé, Crystal Williams, his children: Micheal (Brianna), Anthony, Ryan, Ariel, Kahlan, Rayelle, Jason and Jorden; his grandson Asher; his parents Nancy & Abe Bueckert and Earl (Carol) Baker; his grandmother Justina Peters, his brothers Andrew (Robyn), Jason (Kayla) and Shawn (Whitney); his sisters Amanda (Carlos) and Christina (Jesse), numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Bill is celebrating in heaven with his grandfather Wilhelm Peters, who was one of his best friends, along with his grandparents, Isaac Bueckert and Margaratha Bueckert.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and healthcare aides at Bethesda Regional Health Centre and CancerCare who walked through these difficult months with us.
