Obituary

Johann Tissen, 48, of Steinbach, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at his residence.

Left to follow him to Glory are his wife, Sister Helene; his three sons, Brother Tobias Tissen and wife Sister Elisabeth, Brother Samuel Tissen and wife Sister Anna, and Brother Simon Tissen; two grandchildren, Silas and Michael; two sisters, Margaret Janke and husband Viktor, Helene Souza and husband Charles; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and brethren in Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johann and Katharina (Teichroeb) Tissen; his brother, Peter Thissen; and his nephew, Viktor Janke.

But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
