It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Mother and Baba, Annie Patrick (nee Pidsadny) on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Resthaven Nursing Home, Steinbach, MB., at the age of 107 years and 7 months.
She will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughters Elsie Stadnyk, Marion Marynowski (Gene), Janet Taylor; son Brian Patrick (Cindi); sister-in-law Sophie Pidsadny and daughter-in-law Violet Patrick. She is also survived by grandchildren Larry (Jeannie), Dale, Sheri, Burton, Calvin, Braydyn, Shayli and Saige; great-grandchildren Amanda (Dennis) and Brenden (Kara-Dawn); great-great-grandchildren Harlem and Atley as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Annie was predeceased by her husband William, son Raymond, parents Nastasia and John Pidsadny, sons-in-law Walter and Glen, and grandson Nathan, five sisters Barbara, Maria Mary, Helen Margaret and three brothers Fred, Peter and Jim.
Mom was an amazing woman of many talents in cooking, gardening, farming and sewing and her home was always the host of countless friends and family gatherings and celebrations. So many were fortunate to experience her kindness, caring and her unconditional love in their lives.
A public service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with interment at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Sarto, MB. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Larry Stadnyk, Dale Stadnyk, Sheri Marynowski, Brady Patrick, Shayli Patrick and Saige Patrick. Honorary pallbearer is Nathan Taylor.
