Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Linda Mary Burfoot (nee Bauer) at the age of 74 years on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

After successfully battling and beating cancer three previous time, she lost the fourth.

For Linda it was always family first. Nothing made Linda happier than being with her family. She was totally dedicated to the wellbeing of her family and her strength was what held us together.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Robert, sons Glen and Brent, sister Wendy Pass (Jeff Klebert) sister-in-law Rosalind Scaife (Bob Cancade), three granddaughters (her pride and joy!) Megan, Katie, and Alix, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She always placed ours and others happiness and welfare ahead of her own.

Linda was predeceased by her parents Hank and Jessie Bauer.

The lady loved to dance and Bob would often played the song “Poetry in Motion”. She taught dancing for many years to eager youngsters at Issac Brock, Orioles, Clifton and Woodhaven community clubs.

The family would like to thank the lake group, the Tyndall Park school ladies’ group, the Paradise Village Group, and all her other friends that contributed to her happiness in life.

As per Linda’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her ashes will be spread at Jessica Lake and Echo Bay.

Due to Covid restrictions no service will be held at this time. Flowers are declined with gratitude.
