Obituary

The family would like to announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Rosine Wallbank age 91, on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at Bethesda Place, Steinbach, MB.

Rosie was predeceased by her husband Norman, grandson Cory, great grand-daughter Cordelia, her eleven siblings, as well as her parents.

Rosie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Shirley Joyce, Janet (Cornie) Wall, Sharon (Ed) Neufeld, and JoAnne Stoesz; her sons; Jake (Chrissy) Wallbank, Fred Wallbank, and Brian Wallbank. As well as her eleven grandchildren, and twenty-one great grandchildren.

Mom was born and raised in Grunthal, MB. She met and married Norman in 1948. Together they raised their family in Steinbach. In the later years they worked together, cleaning at night, for Granny’s Poultry. Trips to the ranger station in Sandilands, going for drives and daily coffee with friends or family were highlights of her retirement years. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private family memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Crossings Funeral Care.

The family would like to thank the staff at Red River Lodge (Morris) and Bethesda Place (Steinbach) for the exceptional care and compassion shown during her stay.
