Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Adam Gendreau at the age of 32 on Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

Adam will be deeply missed by his loving parents, René and Raedean Gendreau as well as his sisters: Michelle (Martin), Lynn (Eric) and Nicole (Chris). Adam will also be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, as well as his dear friends.

Adam was the strong, silent type who valued family time and hobbies such as hunting and fishing. He was kind, caring and he had a strong willingness to help others. This made him many friends along life’s path. His generosity was immeasurable. Friends and co-workers would describe Adam as hardworking and dependable.

Adam was mechanically inclined. He completed his pipefitter’s apprenticeship immediately after high school and continued his entire career at DMS Industrial as a journeyman fitter. He spent much of his time working away from home in remote locations where he enjoyed the outdoors and found opportunities to go fishing after work hours while away at camp.

The family wishes to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers as expressed by family members and friends during this very difficult time.

Due to current COVID restrictions, a private interment will take place at Enfant-Jésus Roman Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

“And though you’ve walked through Heaven’s gate, we’re never far apart, for every time I think of you, you’re right here, deep within my heart.”
