Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our dear husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Kenneth Klaas Wall on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the age of 46 years.

He is predeceased by his uncle Dave (Margaret) Rempel, and uncle John (Sara) Rempel.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Lorisa, sons Tyrone, Thomas, David, and Dawson, and his daughter, his little sugar, Madelyn. He leaves to mourn and will be forever cherished by his father Klaas Wall, mother Eva (Rempel) Wall, brother Leonard (Renae) Wall, and sisters Sarah (Cam) Peters, Gloria (Steve) Klassen, and Jacqueline (Anthony) Dueck. He will be deeply missed by his father and mother-in-law Orville and Beverly Doerksen, sister-in-law Myra (Alan) Brydges, and brother-in-law Joel (Christine) Doerksen. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Ken was born on August 23rd, 1974 in Emo, Ontario to Klaas and Eva Wall. He attended Stratton School until March 1986 when the family moved to Blumenort, Manitoba. He attended Blumenort School and Steinbach Regional Secondary School and graduated in 1993. He was married to Lorisa Doerksen on August 5, 2000 at Blumenort Community Church. Ken gave his life to Jesus after hearing the words of the late Billy Graham and was baptized in Spring 1999 at age 24.

Ken deeply loved his kids. He was intelligent, witty, funny, kind, positive, adventurous and encouraging. Ken was an incredible storyteller and fascinated us with his ability to turn a simple story into a detailed cliffhanger. He loved enjoying conversation over a cup of coffee. He had a passion for anatomy and helping others, and loved the one-on-one conversations that came through his work. Ken loved Strongman challenges and the family cheered when he overturned an 800lb tractor tire. He hoped to overturn the 1200lb one next. In recent years, Ken worked for Diamond Construction. He liked to work with the labour crew, so he could enjoy the crew conversations, and where he could be the strong one. Ken, you are loved so deeply, by so many. Now you are stronger than ever.

“Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear.” ~ Isaiah 59:1
