Obituary

Harold Penner, aged 62 years, of Steinbach, MB., passed away peacefully, following a lengthy illness on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at his residence.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Grace Penner and their two daughters. Harold will also be lovingly remembered by his father, Henry Penner, one sister, four brothers, three grandchildren, and their families.

He was predeceased by his mother, Anna Penner.

Harold was a gentle hard-working man who loved trucking, he spent many years driving long distance. He loved God, his wife, their two daughters & their spouses along with their three precious granddaughters. Harold was also known for his unique sense of humour. He will forever be loved and missed.

A come & go viewing will be held on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

The funeral service for Harold will be held on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Southland Church, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.

If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harold may be made to CancerCare Manitoba.

A special thanks to all the staff at the Health Sciences Centre, Bethesda Regional Health Centre, homecare aides, nurses and all the family and friends who visited and supported us.
