Obituary

Steve peacefully passed away on January 12, 2022 at Vita & District Health Centre at the age of 72.

He will be lovingly missed by his wife of 38 years Joanne (Jody), his 3 children Mark (Taryn), Jonathan (Kamini) and Bethany (Darcy) Wall, grandchildren Miqaela, Scott, Kennedy, and Willow; his mother Bernice Brown and mother-in-law Shirley Pippy; siblings Susan (David dec’d.) Fox, Richard (Joanne) Brown and Paul (Denise) Brown, his uncle Gary (Pauline) Love, sister-in-law Sue (Ferd) Bernjak and his nieces and nephews.

Steve is predeceased by his father Neill Brown and father-in-law Murray Pippy.

He joined the RCMP in 1969 and retired after over 42 years. He was a very active member in the community, volunteering, refereeing hockey, coaching his children’s sports and was president of KWCC.

The entire family would like to thank the staff at Vita &District Health Centre for their wonderful care and compassion during his short stay.

Due to the current pandemic the family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
