Trudie Ringer (nee Bergen)

Obituary

Trudie passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at the Gimli Hospital.

She was a very gentle, thoughtful person and a loving, caring wife to her husband Bill who passed away in August 2020. Trudie had a busy life. Always tending to her many beautiful flower gardens that she was so proud of as well as many rounds of golf with the Ladies group on Sandy Hook Golf Course. For the majority of her working career she was the restaurant manager at K-Mart.

Trudie is survived by her brother Bill (Tina) Bergen, sister Margret Friesen, and brother-in-law Jake Harms. Predeceased by parents, Peter H. and Susana Bergen, sisters, Tina Spencer-Brandt, Sara Friesen, Mary Harms and brother Abe Bergen.

Also survived by stepchildren, Judy (Brian) Kilrea, Stu (Heather) Ringer, and Chic (Don) McDonald, grandchildren, Billy, Diane, Linda Kilrea, Melanie Ringer, Kristol and Angel McDonald as well as sixteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
