Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we say goodbye to Vera Stoesz, nee Evankevich, who passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach, Manitoba. Vera is now safe in the arms of her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Vera is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years Bill Stoesz, her sisters Olga Andrushko, Jean Kanen, and Ele Schultz, her brother-in-law Cornie (Joyce) Stoesz, and sisters-in-law Hilda (John) Klassen, Johanna (Wes) Peters, Iris Ewankevich, and Leona Ewankewich, as well as many nieces and nephews and friends.

A celebration of Vera’s life will be held on Sunday November 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Birchwood Funeral Chapel in Steinbach. A private graveside memorial will take place at a later date at Dover Cemetery in Zhoda, Manitoba.
