Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Etta Rose Schmidt on Sunday June 25, 2023 at the Bethesda Regional Health Centre at the age of 95 years.

Etta was predeceased by her husband Victor and son Bill.

Etta will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her son; Darrel and wife Jennet, brother; Dori, daughter in law; Kathy, grandchildren; Randy, Teresa, Kristen, Amber, step grandchildren; Joanne and Carl, great grandchildren; Stephanie, Haley, Lauren, Hugh, Miles, step great grandchildren; Reese, Mille, Connor and great great granddaughter; Violet.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Darren Reimer and all the staff on the rehab unit at Bethesda Regional Health Centre for their care during Etta’s last days.

According to Etta’s wishes, cremation will take place and she will be laid to rest beside her husband and son at 2:00 pm on September 18, 2023 at the Glen Eden Cemetery, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul, MB.
