She will be joining her siblings in heaven: Denys, Rosaire, Jean Paul, Marcel, Guy, Jeanne, Antoinette, Elisa, Armand, Gabriel, and René.
Dolores always had a great “joie de vivre” attitude. Always in Great Spirit and looking forward to spending time with her family.
Dolores was a big contributor to her community. Her drive to make a difference encouraged her to obtain her Licensed Practical Nurse certification which allowed her to provide care to hundreds of patients at both Morris and Emerson General Hospitals. She enjoyed her career path which extended from 1977 until her retirement in 2000. She loved supporting and volunteering at countless church events during the 60 years while residing in St. Jean.
Dolores with her husband Alfred enjoyed traveling, spending many winters in Arizona & Texas. Their thirst for exploration included many parts of Mexico, Hawaii, South America, the Caribbean, including Canada, coast to coast.
Although she had many gifts in her life, her true love was the time she spent with her life partner Alfred, her children and grandchildren. Although not frequent, she was proud to hold her great-grandchildren.
The family was grateful for the excellent care from the staff at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne, MB and the Steinbach Hospital during her final moments with us.
The funeral service with be held at the St. Jean-Baptiste Catholic Church, St. Jean-Baptiste, Manitoba on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
