Nettie Monkman, 88, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Ste. Anne Hospital, Ste. Anne, MB.

Nettie was born January 13, 1930.

She was a loving mother to George Jr. (Harry), Gary (Arlene), Shirley (Bill), Gloria (Charlie), Theresa, Diana (Leonard), Lynda, Micheal, Eric (Cheryl), and many foster children. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is survived by four sisters and two brothers.

She is predeceased by her husband George and parents Aganeta & Abram.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the War Amps Key Tag Service, 1 Maybrook Dr., Scarborough, ON M1V 5K9.
