Obituary

Gerald Patrick Joseph Lachance, 58 of Steinbach, Manitoba, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at his residence.

He is survived by: his wife of 37 years Sheila, their daughter Krystle and sons: Theodore (Rhonda) and Benjamin; four grandchildren; mother Anna Lachance; five sisters; two brothers; and numerous extended family.

He was predeceased by his father Benoit Lachance.

He was a jack-of-all-trades, but spent many years working as a truck driver.

He enjoyed working on small building projects and had been an avid scuba diver for a few years. He loved to hunt and fish. He liked to watch shows and movies about history. He often was caught watching shows about hunting and fishing.

He attended the Southland Church with his family.

He was a very loving father and friend. He was sensitive to anyone he knew was hurting and was always there to help in times of need.

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Southland Church Chapel, 190 MB-52 W., Steinbach, MB.
