Obituary

Marvin Strumbicki passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, after battling many health challenges since his retirement.

He was predeceased by his parents, Matey and Wasylyna, all his siblings, John, Joe, Mary, Rose, Carol Pauline and Adeline, as well as his parents-in-law Anton and Margaret Samborski, and brother-in-law Myron Yakimischak.

He leaves to mourn his loss, his wife of 58 years, Lorraine, sister-in-law Sally, sisters-in-law Barbara and Donna, and brother-in-law Tony (Sharon) as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private service with immediate family will take place a later date.

The family would like to thank the paramedics for their quick response. Dr. L. Khandan and Dr. T Penner for their many years of care. The staff at De Salaberry District Health Centre in St. Pierre-Jolys for the kindness and compassionate care they gave Marvin in his final hours. Also to Pastor Denver Kroeker for the comfort he provided to the family at the hospital.
