Gilbert Lahaie died on May 13, 2026.

He leaves behind his wife Gabrielle, sons Luc (Amanda), Marc, Matthew (Cathy), Johnny (Sylvie); and grandchildren Angelica, Cheyenne (Kendall), Sabrina, Brianna (Patrick), Jessica, Zarah, and Yannick; and great-grandchildren Abigail and Bennett.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or celebration of life.
