Obituary

Trevor Wiebe, 55, of Zhoda, MB, previously of New Bothwell, MB passed away on Monday June 1st, 2026.

Born in Steinbach, MB on July 17, 1970, he was the fifth son of Dick and Helen Wiebe. After graduating from Steinbach Christian High School, Trevor went on to have several different career paths. He worked first as a long-haul truck driver and started a trucking company, then went on to own a chicken farm outside of New Bothwell, then became a business owner of Investia and H&R Block Steinbach.

Outside of his work, Trevor served on several boards including Granny’s and SBC. His free time was spent riding motorcycles and working in the shop and around the yard on his various projects. He was known for his strong intellect, intuition, work ethic, and his deep commitment to generosity.

Above all, he was a father. He took immense pride in his children and admired their unique traits and interests. He taught his family many values but none more so than the importance of family itself.

He is survived by his children, Tyrel Wiebe (and Jessica Reimer), James Wiebe, Olivia Penner (and Cailen Penner), and Sophia Penner (and Colby Penner); the mother of his children Mona Wiebe; his siblings Larry Wiebe (and Lori Wiebe), Warren Wiebe, Glenn Wiebe (and Brenda Wiebe), Paul Wiebe (and Rachel Wiebe), and Melissa Wiens (and Walter Wiens); his stepmother Marge Wiebe; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Dick (2009) and Helen (2003) Wiebe.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 Highway 52 W, Steinbach, MB. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Trevor are welcome to attend and celebrate his life. To honour Trevor’s love of motorcycles, all who drive a bike are invited to ride it to the service. A private family burial service will take place in Silberfeld Cemetery following the service.
