Obituary

Olive Perreault was born in Ste. Anne, MB, on June 25, 1944. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, August 8, 2026.

She was predeceased by her father, Jean Baptiste; her mother, Claire; her sister, Lorraine, her sister Yvonne (Kornelson); and her brother, Emile. She is survived by her four siblings: Marie Jeanne Plouffe, Jean Perreault (Rolande), Denise Dyck, and Denis Perreault, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

Olive grew up in Ste. Anne and later lived in Winnipeg for many years before returning to her hometown, where she spent her remaining years. Though she had no children of her own, she was deeply devoted to her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished and spoiled. Her life revolved around her family, and her happiest moments were spent in their company.

Known for her compassionate nature and big heart, Olive was a truly generous soul – always ready to lend a helping hand or give to anyone in need, regardless of her own means.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the staff at Ste. Anne Hospital for the exceptional care and compassion provided during her convalescence.

A private family service will take place at a later date.
