Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, grandson, nephew, and friend, Greg Doerksen who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Greg is survived by his wife of 5 months. Adrianna Doerksen (nee Côté), and daughter of 18 days old, Roselyn Doerksen. He is also survived by Mother Edna Doerksen (nee Hildebrandt), & Father Abraham Doerksen, Brother Scott Doerksen (partner Charity Edwards) & Nephew Liam Doerksen. Grandparents, Wilhelm and Neta Hildebrandt and Maria Doerksen (widow of David Doerksen) re-married to Peter Neufeld and many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

Greg lived his life to the fullest. He loved the simple things in life, family, fishing, talking, cars, work, tractors, animals, his Paraguayan culture and food. He was head over heels in love with his wife, Adrianna and their new baby girl Roselyn.

He will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a life celebration for Greg on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 11:00 am at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB., with viewing one hour prior to the service. Reception will follow after the service. Interment will take place at Blumenort Community Church Cemetery, Blumenort, MB.
